Collecting Memories

We like to travel a lot with friends, just my husband and I and our last cruise we met up with some friends and at one of the ports and they were collecting sand from the beach. I wasn't sure about what they were going to do with it but we were at their house a few months later and they had this great display of glass jars with all the sand from the places they had traveled and I borrowed the idea!

Wine Glasses

My hubby was working this weekend and I was feeling crafty so I created a couple new stemless wine glasses with vinyl. I know I know I am a little ahead of myself with the two Halloween glasses but I love Halloween!

Toothfairy Pillow

My friends kids are starting to get to the age where the toothfairy becomes important. I dont have any kids and I don't remember this being a big deal when I was a kid but I love a project. So the best part of this project was I was free to create whatever I wanted. SO I went with a fun baseball theme, baseball print on the back and solid navy on the front with angels logo pocket for tooth and money.

Starbucks Mugs

We love to travel and I love to shop, so I always like to bring something home from the places we've been. I have been collecting Starbucks mugs from the where you are collection since my husband and I have been married ( almost 7 years ) and I love that it combines my love for souvenir with my love for coffee! Below are the two new additions this year from our travels and then Florida was brought back from a trip my mom took.

Sports themed Birthday's

My favorite thing about having an Etsy shop is the custom orders, I love when I can add my creative touch to someone's special day. A couple of weeks ago I did these really fun banners for two little boys birthday's.

I think I need a larger mantle :)

Alice in Wonderland

Last friday was my friend and co worker Jen's birthday. She loves anything disney so we did an Alice in Wonderland theme and it turned out super cute. I will say every birthday we get a little more creative!

BRIE Bites

I love to bake and Pinterest is the best place for recipe ideas, a couple of weeks ago we were heading to a friends and need to bring an appetizer. So I headed over to Pinterest and picked this yummy brie bite recipe from my board cause who can resist cheese and puff pastry!

Ingredients

Brie ( I used the log cause it was so much easier to cut )
Puff pastry
Can of Cranberry Sauce


Instructions

1 Cut thawed puff pastry in squares and place in greased muffin tin
2 Cube brie cheese and place 3 or 4 pieces in center of puff pastry
3 Add a teaspoon of Cranberry Sauce on top
4 Bake at 325 until golden brown

Since the brie needs to be cubed this was easiest less messy way since Brie is so soft

Add the cubed Brie 

Teaspoon of Cranberry and they are ready for oven!

Well I wish I had the finished result but they were eaten up before I even had a chance! Absolutely the best wine night appetizer!

Angels 5K

A couple of months ago I participated in my first 5K, it was the Angels 5k and FUN walk.

It was such a great event thousands of participates and since I love and excuse for a project I made these fun water bottles for our group!

Little League

Its that time of year again Little League has started up and my instagram feed  is filled with all my friends kids playing baseball. A friend gave me an idea for a tumbler with her sons little league logo rather then team since they rarely are on the same team year after year. Now she can use this tumbler at the fields and during practice every year! Thanks Maggie for the great idea!

Mom's Birthday

Birthday's are important to me not only my birthday but my friends and family too. I think its important to celebrate and make them special. ( probably one of the driving forces behind my banner business ) 

Anyway my mom's birthday was two weeks ago ( I know sorry late post ) and we celebrated with 24hrs in VEGAS! It was awesome we left on a Friday afternoon and we were home by Saturday afternoon ( flying of course).

We saw a show had a fabulous dinner and more importantly just had some quality mother daughter time.

March Madness

March isn't just about St Patrick's Day its also one of the most fun months for college sports! Personally I love march madness it usually means awesome basketball and a little friendly wagering with my hubby. We haven't done our brackets yet...( duh a couple play in games still to happen ) and I am still trying to decide who my team will be this year! ( I didn't go to a big college and well FIDM doesn't have a basketball team ).
