Burlap Tote

Once a week I have a sewing class and this week I took a blank burlap tote and added a few fun details. A fun fabric flower near the handles and a black and white chevron pocket on the front.

My friend Jaime is having her second baby in oct  a little girl, and today at work we had a shower for her. Rather then make the usual baby shower banner I just made a name banner in the nursery colors and then a fun diaper cake!

Can't wait to meet baby Hayden congrats Jaime!

Back to School

As the summer winds down its time to start thinking about back to school, and  I was super excited when a friend reached out about a project. She was looking for lettering for her classroom boards. Its her first year as a preschool teacher, and she is getting her classroom ready.

Baseball Baby Shower

I love parties and themed ones are my favorite, I love even more when I get to help with the decorations. This was a baby shower that a friend on mine threw for her step daughter, it was a baseball with boston and new york as the favorite teams.

Its already been a year!!!

a little dottie my etsy shop is 1 year old today! I can't believe how fast the year has gone. Fun things are happening I will be at my first market in November with a booth and depending on how that goes perhaps more events in the future. But as I look back at the year and the things I have done, the weddings I have made banners for the baby showers and birthdays. I just want to say thank you to all my customers and friends and family your support truly has made a little dottie successful!

NFL Birthday

I love when I get to do things that are unique so when a customer asked for a banner for her son's birthday I was thrilled. They are Rams fans and since I already make a football banner turning it into a birthday banner just took a little tweaking.

The Market at the Bridge

I super excited to announce that I was selected as a Vendor for The Market at The Bridge. Its going to be my shops first booth at a show and I can't wait! Now time for the prep need to design a cute booth and some new items to sell!

Bluesapalooza 2014

Last year my best friend and her boyfriend invited my husband and I to Bluesapalooza in mammoth and we had a great time. So now its tradition this is the 2nd annual "camping trip" now that's in quotes because my idea of camping is a condo among the trees. This year was just a much fun as the previous year, always great to spend time with close friends.
